Welcome to my ship family!
/My name is Meghan. I am a twenty something actress and singer from England. I was brought up in a beautiful town called Tunbridge Wells in Kent. My middle name is Nancy, my favourite animal is a pig and I am the middle child. I am very fortunate to have an amazing family and some incredible friends who are always there to cheer me on when things get tough.
I backpacked Australia and Thailand when I was eighteen, at nineteen I moved to London to train professionally and at twenty one I landed some wonderful jobs in and around London, touring the UK, and abroad to some very bizarre places.
Fast forward to the day I landed a job as a Lead Vocalist for Grayboy Entertainment. I left my life and moved out to Sydney Australia to work with P&O Australia for eight months. That was the beginning of my wanderlust adventure. I now work with Princess Cruises as a Production Guest Entertainer Vocalist.
As I write this I am sitting in my favourite cafe in Tunbridge Wells. I am looking back and reflecting on all the crazy, weird, challenging and wonderful situations I have experienced. I thank my lucky stars for the people I have met, the friends I have made for life, the life lessons I have learnt, the views I see every morning from my porthole, the talent I get to perform with, the progression of my career, the adventures, the beautiful dresses I get to wear, the weird costumes I have to wear (!) and I can't help but feel grateful and thankful for where I am today. This is where I am supposed to be.
meghanraynermusic has been on Instagram for a while now and I have enjoyed using the platform to document my life, career and travels. But whilst I love using it as an alternative blog, I think the word count and general set up hinders me slightly. I have a lot of time to myself when I am on contract and I have found myself craving some more mental stimulation. I really miss writing so thought it was about time I do something about it.
I will be heading out to Los Angeles again soon to work for Princess Cruises and with this blog I aim to document my life and career as a singer on a cruise ship.
